Welcome to JKP Rickard's Construction Inc.
Previously known as Rickard's Custom Carpentry & Spray Foam, we are a construction and insulation contracting company providing everything you will need to get your construction/insulation projects completed. We have completed multiple major projects all across Northern Ontario and Northern Manitoba, including 2 consecutive housing projects for the Moose Cree First Nation and an apartment complex for the Moose Cree Group of Companies from Sep 2014 - Feb 2017. Immediately after completing these projects in Northern Ontario we were then awarded a contract to help complete 27 new houses for a grand total of 77 in Little Saskatchewan Manitoba.
In January 2018 we were contracted by Ontario Early Years to renovate the old Iroquois Falls Day Care centre to be remodelled and repurposed to accommodate their many needs. With a short time line of just 6 weeks we completely transformed their 2400 square foot facility. Within these 6 weeks we were also hired by the Town of Iroquois Falls to renovate their offices to improve the layout and work flow.
In spring of 2018 while starting our summer construction season a crew was sent to Norway House Manitoba to install spray foam insulation in 16 newly constructed houses in their community. Also during the summer of 2018 we were than hired to complete 11 new houses for the Lake Saint Martin First Nation in just 3 months.
In July of 2018 we were hired by Tribury Constructors to provide spray foam insulation for the new addition to the Pope Francis elementary school in Timmins. While on this project we were than contracted to complete all the interior trims around windows and exterior doors which included a 16 foot tall cross set into the brick. After developing a successful working relationship with Tribury we were than brought on board to help construct the new Ecole Alliance Secondary School in Iroquois Falls providing services from carpentry to spray foam insulation.
In August of 2019 we were hired by CGV Builders to insulate and construct the new Super 8 Motel in Moosonee.
